Monday morning Pilates

Thursday Pilates

10:15 – 11:15 (beginners)

Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasises proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. As a ‘GP referral’ qualified trainer, our Pilates classes make the perfect addition to physiotherapy and post-injury rehabilitation.

This is a class which is differentiated to suit all levels and is ideal for those who want to improve muscle tone, flexibility and posture, as well as people with joint problems (particularly back, hip and shoulder). Set to relaxing music, it is also an ideal way to end a stressful day with a gentle but effective workout.

Lucky Dip class

Wednesday 6:00 – 7:00pm

Each week will be a slightly different class from step to circuits with everything in between. Add heavy weights to make it a strength and conditioning class, keep the weights light and have more of a cardio workout – it’s up to you. What we can guarantee is a whole body workout with small numbers in the private studio. This class is very adaptable for all levels of training and would suit those of you who get bored doing the same workout each week.

Friday Fighting Fit class

Friday 6:00 – 7:00pm

Finish the week by releasing your stress at our ‘Fighting Fit class. This is a combination of exercises based around boxing and martial arts, when you can not only get fit while having fun, but also learn some boxing and martial arts skills (a particular passion of mine). This class is particularly fun if you can work out with a partner or spouse (although this is by no means a necessity).

We all know that, with the best will in the world, sometimes life gets in the way of staying healthy. This is your opportunity to turn your life around with our help. Gro-fit are pleased to be able to offer whole or half days when we help you get back on track. With a combination of both theoretical and practical nutrition and exercise classes, we will soon have you back on your feet and feeling ready to begin your journey back to health. Set in the beautiful Milwards Estate, this is the perfect way to start feeling like yourself again. These sessions are subject to demand, so please contact us for more details.
